Substitute Care (Sub Care) Providers are highly trained Direct Support Providers that offer a break to the Family Living Provider. This service can be conducted in the home or out in the community. Although there are no specific outcomes attached to this service, as service providers, we are always teaching and assisting individuals so that they may gain independent and social skills with a minimum amount of intervention. The concept that everyone is capable of growing and learning every day is what we are most passionate about.
Substitute Care Providers are screened and trained by the agency as well as any therapists the individual might be utilizing. When Providers join Advocacy Partners, they are joining a team. Their role, first and foremost is to advocate for the individual that they are supporting in the home or in the community.
