Respite is a flexible family support service that provides short-term, temporary care to children or adults with Intellectual or Developmental Disabilities (IDD) that allows families to take a break from daily care giving. Respite care providers assist the individual in activities of daily living, promote the individual’s health and safety, as well as provide opportunities for community integration and involvement and leisure, play and other recreational activities. We adhere to high standards for our staff and everyone we train. The individuals we support deserve the best staff, and we at Advocacy Partners do our best to assure them that the best is what they get!
